The outbreak of the epidemic has caused street artists to face new difficulties. In addition to the unstable income, many original performance venues prohibit street artists from performing. In the few places where performances can be performed, the income of street performers has plummeted due to a sharp drop in tourists.

Travel-related industries have also been affected by the epidemic. For example, luggage manufacturers have seen their sales greatly affected due to the complete suspension of foreign travel.

Since the suitcase is a necessary tool for street artists to store props, it is used on the streets every day, and the wear rate is also very high. Starting from late October, the German NaSaDen luggage general agent "Caiyu Life Museum" launched the "Dream Chasing Relay" plan, inviting street artists to apply for luggage sponsorship.

"We believe that a suitcase is not just a suitcase, but a 'dream story box' for everyone." Instead of waiting for the epidemic to end, we should help more people realize their dreams.

At the end of October, "Caiyu Life Center" began to cooperate with Yang Yuanqing, the yo-yo world record holder and the vice chairman of the "Taiwan Street Art Culture Development Association", and announced that it was willing to sponsor a new large suitcase for street artists. As long as the street artist provides his license number and is willing to share his journey of becoming a street artist on social media, "Caiyu Life Center" will sponsor a 29-inch "Germany NaSaDen" suitcase originally priced at NT$4,600 for free. So far, more than 60 street artist applications have been received. More than 20 people have passed the review and received their suitcases.

In addition to Yang Yuanqing, street performers participating in the "Dream Chasing Relay" project also include: Liu Yanhong, the team champion of the 2019 International Balloon Invitational Competition, street drummer "Mr. Bach", bell ringing performer "Bell Sailor Moon" "Sailor Lei Lei", street dancer "Little Green Man", crystal ball performer "Meow Brother", ocarina artist Chen Ruoyi (Chocolate)...etc. "The suitcase happened to be broken recently and the head is very big," said bell-ringing performer Lei Lei. "In the process of chasing my dreams, I am really happy to continue to find partners who support me." Ocarina artist Chen Ruoyi (Chocolate) also shared her feelings. In the past few years, "Caiyu Life Center" has long-term cooperation with public welfare groups in the "Buy Box Donation" activity. Cooperating units include Taiwan Cat Lovers Association, Taiwan Animal Emergency Rescue Group, Eden Foundation's "Slow Flying Angel" Project... etc. , just to contribute and make the world a better place.
